International Bluegrass Music Association

http://www.ibma.org/

Many people don't even know that there's an organization like this. If you haven't been to their website, check it out. In the year 2005 & 2010 George and I were invited to sing two of our songs in the Songwriters Showcase. In 2006, 2007, '08, '09 & 2010 The Brombies were invited to be in the Afterhours Showcase in the California Bluegrass Association's Room. The IBMA also presents the Bluegrass version of the Grammys at the Rhyman Auditorium.

The International Snow Leopard Trust.
http://www.snowleopard.org/

The Snow Leopard is a highly endangered Big Cat that lives in the Himalayan Mountains. These incredibly beautiful animals aren't as widely know as Leopards, but like their distant relative, they too are killed for their luxurious coats.!!

Elephant Sanctuary
http://www.elephants.com/

This is a wonderful place that is a permanent home for Elephants who are either retired from performing, or were owned by people who could not properly take care of them, or worse stories. Instead of them being "put down", they are brought here, to Elephant Sanctuary, in of all places, Tennessee!

The Brumbies

Here is a look at the real Brumbies. This is where we got our name, not knowing that we'd mispelled it. James (sometimes called Jack) Brumby is the legendary horse wrangler who first brought these sturdy horses to Australia. Known for a long time as Brumby's horses, they subsequently became Brumbies. A motion picture was made about Jack Brumby, called "The Man From Snowy River."

The Student Conservation Association
http://www.sca-inc.org/

This is a really neat organization.  It's all Volunteers who are in service to nature.  They clear fire trails in the wilderness, build toilets in National Parks, maintain hiking trails, monitor wildlife and much, much more.  Check it out!
